Gold Jewellery | Understand The Differences

Today's blog is to enlighten our clients with the terminology about "Gold Filled" jewellery and "Rolled Gold" jewellery as quoted "Arch Enterprises 31/8/2010"

Gold Filled jewellery terms refers to a technique use to make items look like they made of solid gold, but that cost substantially less. A thin layer of gold between 10-14 carat is applied to a brass metal in order to achieve the gold appearance.

Rolled Gold jewellery, employs the same methodology, but utilise a sheet of thin gold laminated to the base of silver metal.

The advantage of purchasing Gold filled or Rolled Gold jewellery is less expensive, has a life long durability

and does not tarnish.
